Our Mission
Empowering Literacy for All
The Kiwanis Literacy Club Foundation is dedicated to promoting children's literacy through innovative community-driven initiatives. Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of literacy, showcase the positive impact of our initiatives, attract donations and sponsors, offer volunteer opportunities, and serve as a central hub for book distribution events and partnerships. We believe that by providing access to books, we can nurture a love of reading from an early age, right where children live, learn, and play.
Our Story
Since our establishment in 2013, the Kiwanis Literacy Club Foundation has been instrumental in providing access to books for children in underserved communities. We have worked tirelessly to install custom-built book boxes in public spaces and distribute thousands of new books to children. Our focus on improving childhood literacy has brought us closer to achieving our vision of a well-read and educated community.
Community Impact
With over 500,000 books shared and 175 book boxes installed, the Kiwanis Literacy Club Foundation has made a significant impact on the community. By nurturing a love of reading from an early age, we are creating a brighter future for children, families, educators, and community members.
